This is a very early W. W. Greener Anson and Deeley boxlock non-ejector, with round cocking levers. The serial number is for 1878, which places it among the earliest Greener A. & D. guns made under licence from Westley Richards.

Whilst it has been sleeved, the breech ends are still the original dimensions and are smaller than the breech “balls”.

It is not a one off, as there is a very similar gun pictured in Graham Greener's book at p.93 , illustration 140 and p.95 illustration 144.
