J.B. Your stock looks to have a semi gloss finish, the most recent examples of the RBL oil finish were very dull. I personally like a semi gloss oil finish and am pleasantly surprised at how yours look.

That is clearly a lovely bit of selection & execution. I hope it will shoot as well for you as it looks! I enjoy mine immensely, even though I had to wait a season to really do much shooting with it due to happenstance delivery timing, fate or whateveryouwishtocallit. These are simply fun guns to own, carry about in the field and to shoot and I have a lot of fun with mine. I should like to think your experiences will prove quite similar. Bill Wise, Pete's evil twin [now THAT really is funny ;-)] & I used to have these esoteric behind the lines surfer, pig & polka dot discussions for lack of a better expression and invariably the 'luck of the draw' would come to the surface once the dross was removed from the meld. You, my freind, have drawn very well indeed, but you also have company. Sure is a fine looking piece .. could easily qualify as a trophy wife for the field .. well, a chortle at the least;-)
