I don't have reason to wear them often but a Christmas gift cert. from the kids, for L. L. Bean caused me to buy a pair of bison hide leather boots, about $150. To my pleasure, they fit like well used running/sports shoes, right out of the box. If iterested, I'll be happy to dig up the model number.
I don't buy much from Bean anymore, because of their almosr exclusive, over-priced import stuff. Sears and Wal*Mart don't even come close, as importers.
