Even though we've had some price relief, available supplies remain at very low levels. At the beginning of 2003 stocks were 180,000 metric tonnes. They steadily declined to a low of 21,000 tonnes in September of 2007 and have now doubled to 44,000 tonnes. Though an improvement, current supplies are still only 25% of peak levels.
