Sterlingworth by Savage has been stored in a hot attic for about15 years.Was oiled before storage but heat has turned the oil to a thin shellac type substance. Was difficult to move the lever.Forend and barrels off,ejectors almost stuck,free but sluggish.Need to pull the stock for internal cleaning.Trigger guard is off.If top and bottom tang and trigger plate screws are removed.Am I going to see parts flying?
