When Ansley began working for the big W he was representing their ammo, but shooting a Parker, thru the GAH of 1900. By August of that year the big W had him shucking a Model 1897, and in 1901 he went 25 straight in the GAH, then missed the first bird in the shoot-off.
The Fox single barrel trap gun was somewhat covered by Clarence A Godshalk's Patent No. 1,137,477 granted April 27, 1915. However with the interruptions of The Great War AHFGCo. didn't get the single on the market until 1919.
