Is there anyway to get a Beretta that is made for the Euromarket? I was noticing on the Beretta internations site that they make a 471 Silver Hawk Slug model http://www.beretta.com/index.aspx?m=74&idc=1&ids=40

Wow! 6.5 pounds and shooting 12 gauge 3" slugs? I would hate to sight that thing in at the bench!!!
Seems funny that it is a "Silver Hawk" model, so they inlay a gold hawk on it. SHouldn't they call it a "Gold Hawk" or inlaid a silver hawk on it?

I'd suggest contacting the Beretta Gallery in either NY or TX - they get things like the 689 double rifle that isn't typically available in the US.

I don't know the answer to your question but I want one too, especially if it comes with a blued receiver and I can call it "Slug Hawk".

I just got off the phone with the Beretta Gallery in New York. The gun is simply NOT available in the USA. I kept talking. Finally got the person on the phone to agree to ask a VP about it. He warned me it most likely would not happen. If it did, the lead time could be 6-12 months. He promised a call back by Monday afternoon.

Well, no surprise. They never called me back. So, I called them again. Their answer is simply, "NO". They have no explanation except to say that the gun is not for sale in the USA. They are not willing, or not allowed, to import even a single one.
I called Joel Etchen and spoke directly to Joel. He has no way to get one. Suggested that I find a dealer in England then import it....

Find out the cost and maybe we can do a group buy, save on importing costs. I'd be interested.

If someone can recommend a dealer in England who will handle the paperwork for importing the guns, I will contact them.

Might be a case of 'Destructive Device' BATF bullcrap that Beretta doesn't want to engage in. If those bores are rifled and it's over a half inch in the bore, I think there's extra song and dance with the feds to get the stuff in as a new model gun.
