Since I retired in May, I have been slowly selling my guns off. I just don't feel like I need them anymore and I bought them as an investment- so now is the time. It is hard to have so many guns in a (2)safe just to take out and look at once in a while. Doesn't seem practical anymore.

I still have all my collection ahead of me! My list of guns to get is growing at an incredible pace. I have plenty of ideas. For instance, hammer guns in every (common) gauge. A triple set of Sterly's, one of each gauge. A waterfowling Sterly. A drilling, and if you already have one, go for a drilling with 2 or even 3 rifle barrels. Or a verling. A what about a 6 bore double rifle/shotgun combo? Your not done, you just need to expand!

KY ,sorry to hear that,I was just getting ready to package up that LC Smith Specialty with the strange wood and send it off to you.You where right its just too much to worry about breaking i can't sleep at night.Oh well if your full up I will try and deal with it.

Double Trouble, I am glad that you did not send that gun. It would get too depressing if I added that gun to my accumulation. Large gun show less than an hour away this weekend. Told my wife this morning that I should load up the pickup with guns and sell a few up there. She pointed out that I did not have a pickup. Details, details, details. So I went out and bought a pickup, or at least borrowed one from my Ford dealer on a long term basis. So my plan is to select a few guns and go peddle them. But if it rains I might have to wait. No cover on that truck yet.
