Very few engravers during the period I'm interested in signed their work. I would estimate that R.J. Kornbrath signed less than 1/10th of one percent. I'm not aware how the in-house engravers for the shotgun companies worked but don't remember seeing many signed pieces. There is lot of published pictures of Kornbrath engraving as well as all the "Pulls" he took which are in the McCracken Library. Sadly when I was there I only copied the rifle stuff and got very few shotguns. As I can make some time I'll dig out what Kornbrath shotgun pictures I have and post them. Back to family and Christmas stuff.
