Have such a machine with a full length sizing die now in place for factory 3 1/2" cases. Do I trim the sizing die to 2 7/8", on the button? Are there other changes and or re-adjustments I will need to make to create star-crimped 2 7/8" shells?

All help appreciated.

Related: Have 250 once-fired paper Winchester hulls originally loaded with a roll crimp. How does the Rem SP 10 work in such paper cases, or should I stick to fiber wads, etc.? Assuming I obtained correct wad-column heighth, would these cases take an adequate star crimp, or should I stick to a roll crimp? Envision 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 oz. low pressure loads for both paper and probably Federal Plastics.

Please see my ad in WTB for a ten gauge roll crimping tool.

All suggestions, ideas appreciated.
