Daryl, I thought it would be fitting to post this as a sort of homage:




Signore Bregoli was an engraver for Beretta. I believe Richard Saloom, who posted here, has one by him also.

Slate posted this some time ago:
"In written correspondence that I had with Beretta some time
ago they advised me that G. Bregoli was considered by them to be a " Master Engraver "
who for some time was an " Overseer" and " Exectutor " of engraving on the finest of their
guns. I believe that he retired in 1961."

The gun is a Beretta S3EL made in 1960, with Böhler steel barrels and straight grip.
