SDH, I think you are seeing the F E M initials in the lower right of the last picture. There is an earlier closeup in this post showing it in more detail.
Mike, thanks for the last posting of the Kornbrath brochure. Your first post of another part of that brochure , the one with the two rifle floorplates you matched to rifles that you have pictured, also showed a wonderful Baker Superba single barrel trap. I have never seen or heard of the actual gun, but assume it was made.
By the way, your last picture of the Kornbrath brochure had Lefever Arms typed on it. For years I wondered if Lefever made a gun I had not heard of, but it finally became clear that Kornbrath must have sent the brochure to Lefever to solicit work.
