Winchester leased its Japanase plant to make Parker Reproductions in the 1980s. Tony Galazan started making Winchester 21s in the 1990s, in addition to A.H.Foxes. Then Remington re-upped the Parker brand in 2005 with a $49,000 AAHE 28-bore made by Galazan, while Marlin started producing a name-only-L.C.Smith with cosmetic sideplates like the Lefever; Steve Lamboy's Ithaca reincarnation failed, and now Remington owns the maker of L.C.Smith knockoffs.
