Most times not possible. Nearly all have a tranverse screw that goes in form the knuckle. Sometimes used to secure the ejecter dog ( the little thingy that sticks up and pushes on the ejecter rods ) and this screw generally goes almost thru the hinge pin. So if you turn the pin you have to redrill and tap it, almost impossible because of the existing hole. Way easier to make a new one.
