My all-seeing eYe hasn't let me down yet... Lowell yOu think these sleeved comments bother me. I'm proud to own my 10 ga. Nitro proofed sleeved Purdey hammer gun... Every man that's ever touched her has left a different gunner. I got her to hunt....I killed 7 turkeys and a few crows with her so far this fall. I think the Fox is over priced.

When you double click the other pics, a new window of that pic appears, then maximize the pic. It's pretty clear on my computer that the stock has some real issues, no call needed. I'll stick by my first assessment. $3100 for a badly restocked extractor, nearly 8lb, 12g, early C grade with rust is not my idea of a "good buy". More like "good by".

I've bought two guns from Cabelas and I didn't get a straight answer on either gun deal...even tried to pull a fast one on me about a barrel dent.
I'm not sure I'll ever deal with Cabelas Fine gun shop again.

Yeah Chuck, I tried what you said and double clicked/maximized. That expanded the images a lot. It looks like a screwdriver might have been used to separate the stock from the frame. No shadows hiding anything there! Those screwdriver marks will be a problem to do anything with. Thanks for the heads up on that pic maximize. The gun might still be a good "shooter" but based on new data I'm thinking the asking price is way too high. Silvers

They probably have 1200 in it if that.I don't even bother looking at the way overpriced stuff on the CAB sites unless someone posts a link here to a gun.I have yet to see anything that was a "deal" and that C grade @3100 is no exception

Have patience with Jimmy. This is not an easy question to answer briefly.

Denny Crane might just be a starship captain who now plays on Boston Legal, the TV show. Must be mad cow is a line from the show I think.
Funner quote, from a departed friend, was what he screamed during a firefight. In Latin it was "eat shit and die". Had to get it translated later to be sure of what I suspected he was saying. Where a hillbilly learned that Latin is what I never figured out.
