Well my Kentucky friend: If the guys and gals that lived in the hills of Rome could speak Latin, why not a mountain dwelling William from the USofA? LOL Best, John

Speaking of Foxes for sale at Cabelas.....when the store in La Vista Nebraska opened up, they had in their display case a beautiful CSMC DE 20 gauge for sale (at that time they wanted around 14K), gorgeous gun in every respect. Only problem was the rotary bolt was broke, it would not stay "open" when the gun was opened up and to close the gun you had to hold the top lever over and then release it. I told the guys in the gunroom about it and suggested that it should probably receieve some attention. I think that gun is still sitting in the racks, unfixed, waiting for the next sucker to come along.

True, Those fox guns can be dangerous. As a public service I will dispose of them for you. Please email the description and serial number of your fox gun. I will then send you a copy of my C&R so you can send the guns to me for proper disposal. It has recently been reported on the INTERNET that small bore guns of a grades above A are especially prone to issues. To insure your safety I will pay shipping on all such guns.

Whew. 3100.00 for that makes the 800.00 I paid for a 1936 SW that is truly a 98 percent gun a real bargin. I am not going to touch this new gun at all. I thought about opening the chokes up a bit but it is going to stay original. I will buy a slip on pad, but that's it.

The price for the entry level Sterlingworth has rocketed past the field grade LCs, and now well into their graded guns price range. Says more than an internet photo!

Lowell, What exactly do you think an "entry level" Sterlingworth costs? By "entry level" are you inferring some particular condition? Sure seems to me there are a bunch of SWs out there being traded these days. Jake

"The entry level Sterlingworth" Jakearoo. Meaning the first in a line - for the budget minded - lower end - bottom rung etc & etc Has nothing to do with condition my fine fellow. ...and no there's just a few when compared to the Parker Vh and LC field grades that fill the sites. How much do they cost - what I paid for mine!
