I have one of the 600 AT New Haven models as well. A friends son did a stint in the USMC, and had spent time as an armorer, and took the lowly Mossberg home, returning it a week or so later.
Forget what you have ever heard about some brand of pump gun being smoother, hitting harder, shooting to point of aim, being high quality, or whatever-take the gun the Marines have perfected for use everytime, in any conditions, and forget about what name is on it. It is, simply, that good. I wish I had been a fly on the wall of the shop, and seen what he did, but, I'm happy with it anyway. The other 500, while a bit clanky, works, just not like the 600AT.
