I did a good job cranking myself up for this one and it is in the mail. Track staff relayed enough info from the barrel flats and water table for me to conclude the gun is Sauer made. Bores were described as very nice, bright with a small amount of light pitting forward of the forcing cones. We shall see what we shall see.

Mike - what's the serial range on yours? Wonder if this same style Manhattan Arms/Sauer was made in 16 gauge? And Mike, thanks for bringing the gun to my attention - - I'm a sucker to damascus 10s. And Murph, thanks for the "someone should bite the bullet" comment. In this case, I did.
