Researcher Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 5,953 Likes: 149 WA/AK	The Ithaca "bridge trestle" pads actually put on guns during the 1930s and early 40s have "PAT. APPLD. FOR". Ithaca must have had a lot of pads made up even before they filed the patent application on Jan. 19, 1932. The Patent No. 1,868,953, was granted July 26, 1932, but the "PAT. APPLD. FOR." pads were still being fitted to 1941 guns.
