Cody the hammer screws are same on both sides. they are gold plated and are original to the gun.

Phil I did see some similarity to the W. Foerster but no name.
the barrel flats have "not for ball" in French, and Belgian proof
marks. There is no marking on the rib.

Michael It dose have a cheek piece.

Philbert, what is s/n of your Foerster?
Interesting, the pattern of damascus is very contrast under the fore-end, when the rest of bbls are just dark brown.

Geno You can see the damascus pattern on the outside but not as clear as under the fore-end. I wish it shows better but it does not. The brown is kind of nice.

My Foerster has only a "44" on the water table. I suppose that it could be a S/N. From the proof marks I am pretty certain that the gun was manufactured between 1913 and 1924.
