Ed, I enjoyed your "search". Yes, the Sumner school did the typical Boss engraving, actually much like I posted. It's been that way forever, possibly excepting special orders. You can spot it from a distance like you can spot Stephen Grant patterns, Holland, etc. I guess it's my engineering background that "demands" roses when they say there are roses. I know if I gave flowers to my sweetheart, the distinction would be noted too. Now, I guess your background is much different and maybe all of the world's things may not be as clear as they are to an engineer, --- I have enjoyed looking at your gun, but am not ready to try to substitute zenias or cornflowers for roses in many parts of my life. I just couldn't explain my way out of it, but you might be able to. I suppose I might need your help sometime if I'm not careful.
