Gentlemen - thank you for the education. I have commissioned only one engraving project and its still in progress. I found my lack of a good lexicon of sytles of scroll to be a bit hinderance in communicating what I liked and wanted. I just didn't know how to describe it in terms that may be understood at a remove. This thread has helped some in that regard although it still seems like a subject of much interpretation and differing views and definitions.
