I have an Ithaca Lewis model which is missing a few internal parts. I have an opportunity to purchase a receiver which the seller says is a Crass model (serial #74XXX). Is this a Crass or it is it a Lewis? Does anyone know the mechanical differences between the two? I believe they are similar, but not identical. I have Walt's book, but am at work and the book is at home. Thanks. Bill

Bill, 74xxx should be a Lewis and have the parts you need. All parts were more or less hand fitted so a direct plug in may not work but, with some fitting, should be able to do the job.
