If anyone is so inclined, maybe some pictures of these guns at the show?

At any rate, I can let you know that Ivory Beads buys whatever their customers ask especially if that customer can't make the show in person. Just sayin'.

I'm not sure I agree with eightbore. "I like dishonet dealers, because sometimes they screw themselves and I get a good deal?"

Exactly. I sometimes think I was born in a parallel universe and I wound up here where everything looks the same but there are no morals.

When I buy a gun, a car, or a cheeseburger I'm not out to screw the other guy, nor vice versa.

Gun collectors are among the worst of all hobbyists when it comes to morals. I firmly believe 90% of all gun collectors have wet dreams over the old widow lady down the street. Not about sex, but about how they're gonna screw her out of some $5 Million dollar gun for $10. They'll drive by her house as she sits hungry and freezing in the dark as they polish her old man's Colt Walker.

I'd just as soon pay her a fair price with the higher understanding that there's more to life than my bank account. That's why I don't fit in with a lot of gun collectors. I don't have the Eye of the Tiger, as it were.

Improved Modified and GregSY, that is not what I said and that is not what I meant. I said, "I have bought some of my greatest guns from uninformed or dishonest dealers." Your comments are incorrect. If I see a gun that I feel is a good buy at a certain price, from whatever dealer, I will write the check. I did not say I like dishonest dealers. I certainly do not like dishonest dealers. The point I am making (quite clearly, I think) is that a good gun can be bought from a bad dealer and a bad gun can be bought from a good dealer and the buyer must be informed. Now tell me what is your contrasting opinion.

Now you guys can go to Vegas and have a great time. Perhaps a treasure, or some, will follow you home.
That would be a good thing.
Best,
John

Hello Franc:
This winter has been a record breaker. As you know, December snow broke a record set in 1874. We ain't in South Carolina anymore !!!
No, the guns were not listed here.
They have been in California for the past four years. Not having seen them since they were sent, I thought it best to have them shown at Vegas by guys that had them in hand.
I expect them to sell, but if they don't, they will come back here and I will list them then.
Best,
John
