John, about a year ago I acquired a twenty-eight bore Parker DHE with Damascus barrels that was made for a lady (of high social stature) which still has the original Silvers pad (gone hard) and which measures 13 1/4" over the pad. It is the only (known) gun Parker ever made in any grade with 24" 28 ga. Damascus barrels. All of this is documented in the PGCA research letter I sent for and the gun remains as ordered. I'm kind of a large-framed guy and have trouble shooting it well.
