I had a gun shipped to me 3 day DHL about 2 years ago. They held it in their storage facility for over a week because they won't come to my town (17000 people) until they "have enough deliveries to make the trip worthwhile". They also left a 25 lb box of fresh Alaska seafood at my office in the middle of the summer (115 degrees out). It was addressed to my home, but the driver didn't want to take the extra time to drive out there, so he gave it to my secretary while I was busy with a client. I wouldn't use them to ship a rock.
