Trying to work through some aethestic issues here and need some frame of reference. When a substantial amount cast is built into a stock that is going on a gun with straight action tangs; what should be done with the trigger guard tang since the vertical center line of the stock has a bend in it? In these situations is the trigger guard tang usually bent to follow the center line of the stock?

I've owned two guns with crossover stocks. Top and bottom tang was bent on them. This is an extreme example of cast though.

I have a JP Saur that has extream cast off and the tangs are bent. It was a lot of trouble restocking, made a LCS look easy.
