FWIW when I was a lad of ten (61 years ago) every boy had a Daisy Red Ryder BB gun carbine. These guns had a small orifice in the lower part of the barrel as I remember. De reguer for the day was for every boy so armed to carry his tube of lead BB shot in his cheek most of the day. To reload the gun nothing was more adroit than the pursing of lips around that loading port. Most of my boyhood buddies are still alive and in moderately good health for men in their 70's. Just my two cents worth. Chopper
Congratulations... I guess. But all that has exactly nothing to do with a lead shot ban.
I know you guys don't want to believe it might be a good idea to ban lead in some situations, so go ahead and fool yourselves. But if you wanted to understand the issue you could actually read up on the science of the topic.
Banning lead for waterfowl makes lots of sense and has had a measurable impact on waterfowl populations in the Mississippi and other flyways. How that rolls over to other situations I don't know, but if you won't have much credibility with these other situations if you don't get around to understanding the basic issues involved.
Lead is what it is. A metal that can be highly toxic under certain circumstances. Maybe ya'll ought to study up just a smidge.
