Most of the Model 21 shooters I have known over the last 50 years know a little more about "which end the shot comes out" than do the average owners of other makes and models of shotgun. I've never known one of them to apologize for the clunkiness of their 21s. Most of these guys just spend a lot of time loading them up and pulling the trigger, more than the other guys. I just wish they made them in ten gauge. Maybe I should check with Tony.

The above Post is why I have started a Model 21 Forum http://www.model21shotgun.com .
I won't debate the relevance of the above Post to the Topic but most in the Internet forum world would classify the Post as Flaming or Trolling. The Forum I have started will not tolerate such Posts.
If you have an interest in Model 21 shotguns and want to discuss Model 21 shotguns in a civilized manner, feel free to use the Model 21 Shotgun Forum.
My intention is not take business away from this Forum but just provide a forum that Moderates Posts and discussions about the Model 21. -Dick

I would love to have one with 32" bbls, straight stocked to my dimensioins, double triggers and ejectors. I guess that I will have to make do with my spanish guns and use light loads when I am doing high volume shooting ie sporting clays.

Dick: Thanks for the invitation to join YOUR board that won't tolerate an insightful post by one of our most respected members. Sign me right up.

Just what we need, another "moderated" (censored) internet site. Of course, it's your board.. you can do what you want there... you will be largely talking to yourself.

Shotgunjones, thank you for reading my post for what it is, a slightly opinionated reply to the flippant post before it. When I say "flippant", I don't mean that as an insult to that poster, just the standard reply to a poster who doesn't appreciate the gun as much as some others do. Thanks again for your to the point comments.

I don't recall seeing any 21's for $2K 5-6 years ago???

IMO 21's are a great 'corporate' gun but they aren't the answer to many shotgunning needs.

If I could buy one for $2K, though, I'd be first in line.

I'm thinking maybe Dick meant to quote the post that prompted Bill's answer.

Flaming or Trolling?? How was that so?

Not tolerate such Posts? Aren't you special!

I appreciate that you like Model 21s was much as many of the rest of us do, but don't be attacking your kind just because of you "do gooder" attitude.

Then why did he highlight Bill's quote?

Just giving Dick some benefit of doubt on a possible quote slipup because his characterization of Bill's post is so far off the mark.
