Fairbanks has a Trap club and Eielson has a Skeet & Trap club. Otherwise it seems the best clays are around the Anchorage area. I spent much of my tour at Elmendorf in the mid-1970s next door at Fort Richardson's Chugach Rod & Gun Club. In Kodiak we have two Trap ranges at the VFW, and there use to be a Skeet range at the Navy Base, but I don't know if the Coast Guard has it operational or not. Back when the Navy was closing out there I bought a load of 20-gauge AAs really cheap and for the next several years my suitcases leaving Kodiak were really heavy!! Probably couldn't get away with that today.
