How many procucts do we buy that are "perfect" ? I am sure that no mater what brand, a new $50,000 vehicle can be picked apart. How many manufacturers will give a full refund because you are being pickier than the masses. The original poster had every right to be picky and it appears Galazan did everything any one could expect from a company. I guess the real issue here is are we looking for perfect or acceptable? Proud wood to some is bad and others just look at it knowing it gives them a chance at a refinish if ever necessary. The bottom line when purchasing anything is , am i happier with it or without it, so hopefully the original poster is now happy and that is all that really matters here.
