I recommend you talk with Cole Haugh of Indiana. He was doing Ugartechea warranty work for a while for Jon Hollinger from Aspen Outfitting and has visited Spain and knows all about the Spanish method of heat treatment.

I had him work on a Zabala that I originally sent to have the top lever screw replaced. He made me a new screw for $15.00 and did a bunch of other stuff on my punch list for a very reasonable fee and relatively quickly compared to other experiences I've had. He 'smiths on the side but he is the son of Jack Haugh so you know the apple doesn't fall very far from the tree. Cole can be reached at work during the day at 812-926-0324, Ext. 112 or email him at fsicole@yahoo.com.

Give him a call,

Bruce
