Graduate of the institute of bad photography, with advanced work in darkness and out of focus perspective. If you want to sell on the net you need to learn how to take pictures in the light and show what you are trying to sell. Just my opinion.

Look at his other auctions, he knows nothing of doubles. Cut him some slack and inform him he has a wallhanger, maybe $150.00 on a good day. If he comes back hostile or indignant then let him have it with both of the barrels he knows nothing about.

That guy looks like he is working out of his basement. Also goes for the "value added" approach:
"$45 shipping" and "Local pickup is subject to $20 transfer fee"

Unless you took those dreadful pictures you are in the clear Battle. You do need to recognize his advanced talent in poor photography. How can anyone expect to sell a gun for decent money if they do not show it in good light and in focus. Would be like a gun shop working with the light dimmed to about a25 watt bulb setting. Romantic but not very good for sales.

The 12.25s came with the rare Crescent "Buggy & Burglar". An obvious mistake on the part of the seller and I'm amazed that alleged experts can evidence such a lacuna in their knowledge of marque-ups LOL. Seller knows all he needs to know of enthusiasts' desire for packing material and paper; perhaps he'll get lucky.

I am continually amazed by the lack of product knowledge exhibited by some gun dealers and FFL's, both in their online listings and in follow-up discussions with them. It's amazing that some of these guys can stay in business. I'm completing a long distance transaction now with a dealer who misrepresnted the chokes on a relatively well known NIB modern double because he didn't know how to read the markings on the box or on the barrels, doesn't have a choke gauge or a bore/choke mic, and doesn't have a set of calipers to tell me the OD at the muzzles so that I can determine whether screw chokes can be fitted. He owns the shop, but he doesn't know how to measure LOP. But, the gun is a good deal if it pans out, so I'm putting up with the lack of competence. His auction listing pictures were so bad that I needed a pic of the original box to verify the manufacturer and model.
