Hey Doc, The pin itself is not the problem the pin is in there. There is a cap like cover say 3/8" round that covers the pin itself. It slips into the receiver with a spring under it. The hammer in turn strikes it which strikes the pin. I'll see if I can get a good picture of it. You can see the hole in picture #2 & 3. Thanks for the tip though, never thought if a drill bit, ...that would sure work.
