I have both of the Brownell's sets. Accept no other substitutes.

Thank you all. I had a set of Brownells, but 2 boys have lost everything over the years. For some reason, the memory of the youngest boy using a meat saw to cut a plank just popped in my head.

Couldn't find them on the Brownell's site until I tried "magna-tip." Will check out the Wheelers too. Much appreciate your kindness.

Norm, I suspect that Wheeler may produce many of the brand name magnetic tip bits. I have one of their 89 piece sets. The only thing about the set that I do not like are the supplied Qty(2) handles - too long to control. I've ordered different style handles yesterday from Brownell's. The Wheeler bits measure 0.25 across the bit flats (hex),i.e., this is also the same hex size for the Brownell Mag-Tip driver handles.

George, all hex bits, no matter the maker, are 1/4".
