Well, I was again in error. There is an importers name. The first world is so ill stamped to be illegible.

The only Arms Co in Gardener Mass that I know of is H&R. Three letters and this one seems to have four.
There is a D2 A4 D/1 (D over 1) and 2/4 (2 over 4)
I talked with master gun smith, Stephen Hutton about the gun. He was unaware of the model as well.

It is a very nice 20 gauge and low money for an almost unfired gun.
