My club is thinking of dropping the NSCA shoots this next year , and going to a couple of sxs shoots . They would be skeet , trap , 5 stand , and sporting clays - what ever the people wanted . Guess I'm just putting out " feelers " to see what the interest would be . They could be a one day , or weekend shoot . We are located in Lapeer County , Michigan - about 30 miles north of Detroit . I know there are no dates yet , but if anyone thinks they may attend , please let me know . Thanks - Paul

Paul, My brother and I would be interested. That is, if you promise no traffic jams and delays south of Bay City! Randy

One day or two, I'll be there. I think you will draw a pretty good crowd, ounce the word gets out. Did you get my e-mail? Dave

There are already numerous SxS shoots in southern Michigan, Indiana and Ohio run by an organization called the GLSSA (Great Lakes SxS Assoc.). These are all low-key fun shoots. You may be reinventing the wheel.

They must not advertise them very well, because I don't hear about them. There website hasn't been updated since 2003. Run with the idea Paul. You don't need 200 people to have a good time.

They are not advertised, per se. There is a newsletter announcing them. You just need to get on the mailing list. I don't have the contact info but I will get someone over here who does.
