I was just wondering what this is going to do to the dismal bird hunting we already have been having. Bird hunters I hunt with are always talking of the "golden days" before the blizzard hit. It's been 30 years and we were just now starting to get quail re-established. Old timers say "1978" hurt the grouse population in the same way.
Here in the Panhandle 12 inches of snow that lasts two weeks before it melts will sure ruin the season. The next year can still be good if the spring rains come thought.
