Time on this board has zero to do with an injustice. With Easter season just past those claiming to be Christians should take a lesson from the crowd that yelled out out 'crucify him' altho they had no personal knowledge of the man or alleged offence. You men are as bad as a tongue wagging women. You hear something and have to light up all the boards lickity split with the gossip. This board is good for passing infor. but do it for yourself, not second hand for one of the parties.

Mike.....no way i'd let Bob brown anything for me. That many barrels there are other qualified people on this board alone that are doing outstanding work in browning and B&W! If you had Bob do any work your lucky to get one barrel brown/blue a year let alone 5-6!

Battle I was trying to find someone that wouldn't charge an arm and a leg since I had that many to do each year. I'm trying someone in NY right now at $275 a set. He has 2 sets and we'll see how he does. His photos of bearrels that he'd done looked good.

I agree with Cherry Bomb. Why, if everyone hears about Wind River screwing their customers, how will they stay in business? Airing their dirty laundry will just make it tougher for Wind River to make money, and without money how will they be able to go to Chili's Happy Hour? How will they be able to the new Madonna CD?

Wind River might not be perfect but everyone alive has the right to the basics.

Given their track record...they won't stay in business too long. Do some research and you will see. Better business bureau has a file on Bob Williams. If you don't believe the people here, nor believe the court documents that were given in the link, perhaps contacting them will.

Their history, like many other shaddy companies, is to work for a while, get some money coming in, put out a little work to keep things moving...and when things hit the fan, file bankruptcy and move. New town, new company name, pocket full of other peoples money and start it up again. Ask those who have dealth with him for the past 30 years...this is the shell game that is played.

To compare such warning posts to those people in bibilical times that wanted Jesus Crucified is quite a leap. I posted once before about the possiblity some of the things stated could be only part of the story. So I researched it, found out for myself and now know. I personally only dealt with them ONE time...and I learned. Lucky for me, no money had changed hands or guns. The constant stories, which turned out to be lies, told me all I needed to know about doing any further business transactions.

Lastly, people are not intitled to anything. You must work and earn to gain such things. Too many people think "we are intitled" to this and that. Tell me how Wind River is intitled to the basic things by taking money and guns from others and not delivering said product. Should they prosper by taking advantage of others? I believe there is some references to this type of thing in the bible too.

My father always told me that any man who wanted to stand there and quote the Bible while telling you how religious he was wasn't a man to be trusted.

I know quite a few men who are devout in one religion or another that are fine honest gentlemen. But they're also men that you wouldn't know this about unless somebody else told you or you actually asked them.

I'm not saying you're one or the other, I'm just saying.
