Mr. Cherry Bomb,
I am responding to your post in order to give you some "first person" facts about my experience with Mr. Williams and Wind River Rifle Inc. of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

On July 2, 2007, I received 2 each Winchester barrels, one frame, one tang, 2 each lifter blocks from Mr. Williams to be re-engraved. I returned the parts back to Mr. Williams on July 6, 2007. Mr. Williams wanted this job done ASAP and so I accomodated him and completed the work in 4 days. I worked over the July 4th holidays in order to meet Mr. Williams needs. I paid $25.00 to have the parts shipped back to Mr. Williams. The work was accepted and met Mr. Williams approval.

I have not received any payment for this job . . . not even a thank you. I have received several excuses. Do any of these sound familiar to any of you who have done work for Mr. Williams????

1. The check is in a box that is going to include additional parts I am sending you for you to engrave.
2. The check got lost . . . I will cut another one and get it right out.
3. I lost your mailing address.
4. My son mailed the check . . .haven't you received it???
5. You over changed for your work. (This was the excuse several months after I kept calling Mr. Williams trying to get my much needed money)
6. The check is in the mail.

I mailed another statement March 1, 2008 that was sent by registered mail with a signature receipt required. The statement was delivered to Mr. Williams and the signature request card from the post office was signed and returned to me verifying that my statement did indeed deliver to Mr. Williams and Wind River Rifle Inc.

I guess the check is still "in the mail". I am expecting it any day now. Heck, I might receive additional monies from Mr. Williams to cover the finance charge - - - - RIGHT!!!!!
