Glenn, it seems to me that you have a candidate action in the works. Why not? I think I could even bet what might be on it if you went that route...
I do like the Frogmoor Ballard. But cartoons on a 74 Sharps will have to be for someone else.

Having gotten my key board cleaned up from looking at the Frogmoor while taking sip of Diet Coke, I have to say most people take art way, way too seriously. Mr. Ken, you have made my day. I guess high dollar guns have to be taken seriously. But, a modest cost gun would make a wonderful canvas for some just plain fun art work. What better tribute to a rabbit gun than Uncle Remus engraving? This may take some rumination, but I'm getting a picture of the Fuddmoor gun.

Isn't it interesting how a topic can take twists and turns? You never know where a thread will go.

I knew this would change the direction of the thread and put a smile on everyone's face!
I think you should let me see it as well.

Yes, the thread has taken a turn for the better. I only looked in because I saw Mr. Mann's name...
I thought I had pitchers of the flying bunny from the other side of the Sharps, but I can't locate them. If I get one I will post it. Mayhaps Mr. Mann has it himself.
Brent, I am seriously considering having a pig put on the side of the Wesson. But not the cartoon pig. I'm thinking I want a warthog in the foreground with a merekat on a termite mound in the background, and maybe the other side the same scene from the opposite perspective. (And no, I am thinking about both sides of the warthog, not both ends...)
On the other hand, I really like English scroll and the Master Scratcher says he can do a wonderful English scroll now that he has new eyes. But I could save the English for the Fraser action and go with the Hurst Scroll and Warthog theme... Life is so hard...

Ask and ye shall receive......... Brent, Glenn has a special fondness for warthogs seeing as how there is one prominently displayed on his business card. Here's a picture taken a the Guild show with Glenn and a new friend. Glenn is the one with the graying beard.

C.J., tell your wife her sympathy for the turtle is misplaced. If I remember correctly, the shooter, a frog, missed the turtle target, shooting the leg off of another frog. In turn, the turtle posts a sign advertising "Frog Leg For Sale". I have to visit the Frogmoor rifle every time I visit my good friend, Ken.

I love the warthog/meerkat idea. I would be happy to offer whatever pictures I could to help. I spent half a day with one of Cluttonbrock's meerkat tribes in the Kalahari a few years ago. What a trip that was! I too love warties though. Just because I like to show off what little I can, here is mine. BTW, the smiles on the two of you are way too similar for comfort... Which one is stuffed? Brent PS. You already HAVE a Wesson with English scroll. Time for something different!
