Thank you all again!

Mr Newbern,..Idon't know how I would value it,..I have a rough idea based on the original cost and the work involved

Mr Pittelko,..I have no way of telling how many hours are in the project,..never kept track, no doubt several hundred

Daryl,no bending of the lock I just got creative with the wood,..too long to type I could explain later if you wish

Stunning is too mild a word! Congratulations on having not only saved, but re-manufactured that beauty. Kindest regards

My goodness! That's an incredible piece of work. The recut engraving appears fantastic. By any chance do you have a "before" photo?

Holy Smokes! Stunning work. Did you do all yourself? If not can you let us in who did what?

It's really nice to see what a gun of this quality looked like when NIB, or NIC as it may be.

Just fantastic

C.J. asked me to comment. I agree with everyone else. It really has that look. I can't find anything I don't like. The checkering borders are really nice, the case color is great. I especially like the silver front sight and the pad is nice work. The restoration of the drop points and the diamond grip is exceptional. Yup, I'm with the fellow who wants a list of craftsmen who worked on it, even if it's only one name. Murphy

I wonder how many of you would pay top dollar for a restoration like this. Or would you prefer to have an untouched original. I'd take this even if it were a premium. I'l bet it never looked this good in the first place. Very impressive work.
