Thank you again for all your kind words,....I know you would all like to know about the woodwork, but it's tough to describe what I did without going into specific details
and since I'm a slow typist I have to do it when time permits,...in the mean time I managed to find a "before" scanned image of the trigger guard it will give you an idea of the overall condition,..the pitting here was heavy and it varied throughout
