Daryl --- the gun that will be used to copy from will be in exceptional shape, as good as we can get. Also, Parts will be machined a tad oversized and hand fitted.

Chuck and all, thanks for your support. The man who will be making this gun will roto-forge the bbl blanks around a stellite mandrel. On hearing my concern re. steel shot & best stell for bbl's , he suggested a manginese alloyed steel that is the very best for abbrasion resistance whaich he has worked with when making parts for the aircraft ind. Samples of a variety of these steels are to be sent off to Glenn Fewless within the next few days so that he may slow rust blue them to see who well they take to bluing.

More info to be forthcoming as I get it. Ken

Gentlemen, As I mentioned to Ken in our many Pho. Conversations',"All it takes is "The Bankroll".The Late John Amber, whilst sitting at the "Bar of Johnny Helds Brown Bear" at 6400 N. Ashland Ave. Chicago.(1968), outlined a program for me on how to put a gunmaking company together here in the USA.(I wanted to build 'Best Quality English Shotguns") Johns "Mantra" was "Get the wealthy Enthusiasts' to 'Cough-up the Dough"!!! We have the Craftsmen standing "Tools in Hand"..So to speak!!!!Crossed Chisles...
