It shows a very broad repertoire of well executed motifs, some remindful of earlier Russian influence. The styles or some of them go back a long way in firearms embelishment. I think it neat that we still have capable passionate artisans who can execute works as fine as any ever produced [often better in many areas] and passionate interested parties with sufficient means to support them.

Taste is a personal matter and many of these very expensive works are not really being commissioned to shoot. I enjoyed 'The Twenties', the owner obviously having a bit of fun there and I would suspect those guns are intended to be 'shooters' of some sort, even if it be only to further the mirth.
