Hmm......without Canada the US might lose 'some' economic benefit but it would hardly bring us to our knees. Without the US there would be no Canada - it would long ago have been overrun by Russia, or the Germans, or the French, or....Canada may have done their part in wars, per capita, but it's a small part nonetheless. Would WWII have come out differently without the Canadians? I think not.

I like Canada just fine and I can gladly admit they have the best looking women of any country I've been to. But they are some of the sharpest critics of the US you'll find and that tends to rub me the wrong way. That's my point and it is well made and has nothing to do with how many soldiers they sent to Iraq. Or my age. I find that when someone has no legs in an argument they fall back on age, name calling, beer, or some other extraneous factors.
