I have an older model, I believe that it is a 171 or something like that. It was discontinued around 82 I believe. It is a little more crude than a #2 and has a third bite on the breach face. I purchased it. The firing pin was broken when it arrived. I sent it to Jack Rowe for a overhaul. I bent and extented the stock to my measurments. I have dragged it all over SE New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. The finish was not in good shape and has not improved. It has hit the ground on more than one occasion...as I seem to have barb wire and badger hole magnets in my boots. It killed more quail in the o5 season than many of you poor fellows from the East will ever see.

Last season I was shooting particularly well due to some preseason practice.

I love the gun but I believe that all Spanish guns are the same if you pay the same. I also have a couple of Arrietas that are so pretty that they are pretty much target guns or spares for my AYA.
