I have a good friend who has a beautiful custom AYA53 that he had built for him.
He won't admit it, but he was ready to shot someone with it when he first got it. The single selective trigger he paid almost $2g's for doubled when he fired the left barrel first (on occasion). Not a go thing for a dbl bought to be a target gun!
It was repaired by several different people in the USA (no names for the sake of liabilities. He also received poor service from the dealer/importer he custom order it from.) Eventually it was sent back to AYA where they replace the trigger with a double trigger. THEY DID NOT GIVE HIM ANY OF HIS EXTRA $2000 BACK!
The gun works fine now although it doubled again, but this time it just had a loose screw. It really is beautiful,it has wonderful custom engraving. Let the buyer beware..... and don't under any circumstances buy a SST from a spanish maker, period!
BTW, I have an Arrietta for JAck J. that has had 1000+ rounds through it so far and it is flawless.
