I have the 28-70mm 2.8 AF-S, the only lens I took to Africa. But for the studio, the 60 pretty much stays on the D200, it's tremendously versatile, and wonderfully compact.
Also have a 80-400 Vibration Reduction that I've only fooled around with in the backyard. May take it to the sharptail lek soon. There's really no end to it....I learned a lot from the newspaper photog, who was also shooting Nikon.
