With all due respects to you Dean, and your noble efforts to reunite the barrels with their gun, I have to wonder why the big fuss over Bernard steel barrels. It seems as though they are still just another form of twist/Damascus barrels, which according to my Blue Book are near worthless. Worse yet, unless I am mistaken they have the distinction of being associated with the 'F' word. That's right - France!
Is the 'craze' over Bernard tubes just another case of Huck Finn wanting someone else to paint his fence?
